Hi there and thanks so much for stopping by! I'm Jane of Teach, Jane Teach and I have taught 1st and 2nd grade in St. Louis, Missouri. I graduated from the University of Missouri with my degree in Elementary Education and then went on to earn my Masters in Education from Missouri. (Go tigers!) I fell in love with teaching in my basement when I was 10 years old. My mom found an old chalkboard at a yard sale and hung it on the wall. That's when I started collecting things for my classroom and forced my sister into acting as my student. 12 years later I landed my first real teaching job in 1st grade. After a year in 1st grade I moved up to 2nd and have been there ever since!
My favorite thing about teaching is that everyday is a new adventure and I'm so happy that you are here letting me share my adventures with you!
When I'm not at school you can find me crafting, shopping (#addict), or teaching Pure Barre classes. I love to spend time exploring new things with my husband and our dog, Duke.
